FRE_UOM_INITIAL - Control of Transm.o.Unit o.Measure Groups to F&R

Functionality

This Function Module is called from Report FRE_INIT_LOAD if not Transmission of Unit of Measure Groups is deactivated in Customizing for Data Transfer to SAP F&R (Field FRE_SEND_OPTION-FRE_UOM_ACT) or deactivated by User on Selection Screen of Report FRE_INIT_LOAD. If parallel Processing is selected by User on Selection Screen of Re-port FRE_INIT_LOAD this Function Module is called in a separate Task.

In case Release of the connected SAP F&R System is 4.1 and Transmission of Unit of Measure Groups is not deactivated in Customizing for Data Transfer to SAP F&R (Field FRE_SEND_OPTION-FRE_UOM_ACT) processing will be aborted here and a Message will be inserted in export Parameter ET_MSG.

With Import Parameter IS_SEND_OPTION settings for Data Transfer to SAP F&R will be im-ported.

Import Parameter IP_LOGSYS identifies the current SAP R/3 System as sending System.

First Function Module FRE_UOM_SELECT is called to determine all Unit of Measure Groups from Database Table TWMEG and ISO Codes from Database Table T006 for Unit of Measurement used in Unit of Measure Groups.

These selected Records will be mapped in Header and Item Structure of Unit of Measure Groups to be exported to Function Module FRE_UOM_OUT. This Function Module performs Transmission to SAP F&R.

After successful Transmission of Data to SAP F&R information about sent Unit of Measure Groups will be exported to Function Module FRE_SENT_UOM_STORE . This Function Module stores Information of sent Unit of Measure Groups in Database Table FRE_UOM. This is necessary to determine new or deleted Unit of Measure Groups in delta Proc-essing.

Errors or Warnings that occur during initial Transmission of Unit of Measure Groups will be stored in Database Table FRE_UI_MSG via Function Module FRE_MESSAGE_DB as Mes-sages. These Messages can be viewed via Transaction Code FRE_UI in the User-Interface.
