Functionality

This function module can be used to check the substance or specification data the user entered in a formula view. In accordance with Customizing for Formulas, it determines whether a specification type of a substance or a specification is allowed in the relevant subview (see Customizing activity Specify Allowed Specification Types).

Calling the Function Module

If required, call this function module in customer-defined formula views from the flow logic of the relevant screen (event block PROCESS AFTER INPUT).

Interface of the Function Module

Import Parameters	Description
I_RECN	Internal key of the substance or specification to be checked
I_LEVEL	Formula view
I_VIEW	Subview
I_AENNR	Change number that was used to call the formula
I_VALDAT	Key date for which the formula was called
Export Parameters	Description
E_SUBCAT	Specification type of the substance or specification for the key date or change number specified
E_FLG_VALID	Indicator: Specification type is allowed for the subview (value true)
