FSC_EVENT_2070 - FI-CA: Check for Open Credit Items for Debit Interest Calculation

Functionality

In event 2070, for each item, the system checks whether the transferred item of structure FKKOP prevents a debit interest calculation for the account.

A possible reason for this is that there is an open credit memo or a payment on account in the account. No debit interest should be calculated until this credit item has been offset against the debit item so that you do not claim unjustified debit interest from the business partner.

In this module, a debit interest calculation is definitely rejected if there is an open credit item with no clearing restriction on the account. For specific industries, open credit items with an interest lock do not lead to a warning or a rejection of the automatic interest calculation.
