FSC_EVENT_S020 - FI-CA Extended: Determine Business Area

Functionality

The function module processed in event S020 determines the business area when you post a document manually. If business area financial statements are activated, the field Business Area GSBER must be filled in the business partner item in manual posting.

Example

If you enter the business area directly in manual posting, no further checks are necessary. If there is no entry in the field Business Area, the value is determined via the posting area S001. If the field Business Area is empty, you can output an error message in the check for active business area financial statementms.
