FSC_EVENT_S777 - FI-CA: Balance Interest Calculation at Contract Account Level

Functionality

The function module processed at event S777 realizes a balance interest calculation at contract account level.

The interest interval is determined under consideration of the date of issue and the frequency defined in the master data.

A balance table is created from the items that are in the interest interval. The opening balance is the balance of the last entry in the interest history DFSCIHISTIOB. For the due date of the items, DFKKOPK-VALUT is decisive. If this field is empty, DFKKOP-FAEDN is used. For clearing, DFKKOP-AUGVD is used for the due date. If the field is not filled, DFKKOPK-VALUT is used. If this field is also empty, the posting date of the clearing (DFKKOP-AUGBD) is used.

Depending on the withholding tax code for outgoing payments defined in the contract account concerned, the interest document created receives a withholding tax item.

If entries have arisen in the clarification table DFSCICLARIOB as a result of postings in periods for which interest has already been calculated, the interest documents created since are reversed and interest is recalculated for the period. If you cannot reverse an interest document, an inverse posting is created for this document (balance interest reset). The relationship between the inverse posting and the interest document is updated in table DFSCIREV.
