Functionality

This function module is integrated in the standard function of workflow tasks for store physical inventory.

This module is used to control user determination for a specific customer and set of data.

Using the message class and message number, the system uses the standardfunction in table 'TWPDO' to search for a particular organizational plan element in formating the workflow item. The organizational plan element - a job, position, or person - is assigned the task.

You can integrate further decisions on assigning a work item to an organizational plan element in a user exit. A number of container fields from the standard function is passed on to the user exit FM.

The function module enters the organizational category found and the organization identification of the organization plan element determined in a workflow table (ACTOR_TAB) that is interpreted during the preparation of a work item.

Example

Message class 'WP', message number '601' results in:
Object cat. 'C' = job
Object id '50010084' = Purchasing

Using the user exit, the system can use the customer number (e.g. Boston store) found in the item to pass on the task to the buying for the Boston store.

Notes

Further information

Object categories (e.g. job, position, user) and the objects are created in the menu 'Human Resources', 'Organizational Management', 'Detail maintenance' and linked to the higher-level/lower-level objects.

The message is linked to the object category and object ID in table 'TWPDO'. Only one message class or no message class and no message can be linked to a organizational plan.
