G_SET_ALE_SEND_CO_HIERARCHY - Send Complete CO Hierarchy with ALE

Functionality
This module can send a complete CO hierachy via ALE if you enter the following parameters:
- Name of highest hierarchy node (without the 0H prefix)
- Table CCSS for all CO groups except Profit Center Accounting groups, which use table GLPCT
- The hierarchy's controlling area
- The logical system in which the hierarchy is to be sent with ALE. If this remains empty, the hierarchy is sent to all systems determined in the distribution customer model.
The function module then checks whether ALE is active and then sends all nodes to be sent from the hierarchy to the ALE level as IDOCs with the message type COGRP.
Requirements
- Valid for CO hierarchies only, no general sets.
- Hierarchies can be send only from the original system of the controlling area.
- ALE is active for message type COGRP and for the target system.
Output
In all logical systems given message type COGRP from ALE, the hierarchy appears as created in the source system. If a target system is given, the hierarchy appears only in this system.
Existing groups are overwritten as long as they belong to the same controlling area/chart of accounts and are of the same type as the hierarchy being sent. A cost element group, therefore, is not overwritten by a cost center group with the same name; the IDOC will result in an input error. It may be posted successfully only after the cost element group is renamed or deleted.
