G_VALIDATE_RECORD - Check the Code Combinations in Summary, Line Item, or Plan LI Records

Functionality

The table name of an FI-SL table (object-containing), a record or a table of records from this table as well as a table of 'Dates' must be transferred. You have the option of transferring an empty index table. The function module reads whether the code combination (technical: the object record) exists and if so, if it is valid for all of the transferred 'dates'. If required, the system can display the index table with the indices of the invalid records (the records not created and the records that have an invalid date). These records are output by default in a list on a standard dialog box.
