HRCM_MATRIX_SERVICE_TIME - Calculation of Length of Service in Months

Functionality

This function module determines the length of service of an employee in months.

The following principle is used:

• Read calculation rule from table T77S0, if this was not explicitly provided with the function module (parameter PARAM), and determine the length of service of an employee by using function module HR_EVALUATE_TIME_PERIOD.

• If no calculation rule is provided and is not available in T77S0, the length of service is calculated using the dates in the HR_ENTRY_DATE and HR_LEAVING_DATE function modules provided.
