HRGPBS_ME_NI_PAY_FREQUENCY - Determines the pay frequency in current period

Functionality

The function module determines period modifier and payroll frequency for an employee at a certain time.

A) If the employee is in a concurrent employment situation the period modifier and the payroll frequency refers to the primary contract. The primary contract is given by Infotype RefPerNo Priority 0121. If it is in accordance with legal requirements it is unchangeed. If it is not in accordance with legal requirments a contract is chosen automatically which fullfills the legal requirements. For this contract the period modifier and payroll frequency is determined.

B) In a non concurrent employment situation the period modifier and payroll frequency refers to the contract of the input personnel number.

An exception is raised if in a concurrent employment situation no primary contract is defined by the master data.
