Functionality

This function module determines the event offerings for one or more modules based on various selection criteria. An event offering includes the module, event package, business event type, business event/time-independent event objects as well as their interrelationships. The results provided by this function module therefore show these object relationships (OBJECTS_RELATION table).

Possible selection criteria are:

  • Academic year and academic session
  • Start date and end date
  • Campus (specified for the business event or event package)
  • Instructor
  • Locked, followed-up, historically recorded or cancelled business events
  • Show in catalog

Example

You have used the function modules HRIQ_RFC_ACADSTRUC_GET_LIST and HRIQ_RFC_FILTER_MODULE_BY_CRIT and now have a list of modules. You want to display the event offerings of these modules which are offered at a specific campus. You call this function module and transfer the MODULES table containing all the modules. You have already initialized the academic year and session, plan version, and start and end dates with the function module HRIQ_RFC_ACADSTRUC_INITIALIZE. You specify the desired campus in the FILTER_LOCATION_E parameter. The OBJECTS table contains the objects which the function module finds. The OBJECTS_RELATION contains the relationships between these objects.

Notes

This function module adopts the frequently used values you initialized with the function module HRIQ_RFC_ACADSTRUC_INITIALIZE. You therefore do not have to specify the values for plan version, academic year, or academic session.

You can use the CHECK_SHOWINCATALOGUE parameter to define whether or not the system should evaluate the Show in catalog attribute when it processes modules.
