HRIQ_RFC_SEARCH_MODULE_BY_NAME - Find Modules Using Search Term

Functionality

This function module enables you to find modules by name. You can specify the search term in the SEARCHSTRING parameter. The function module transfers the modules it finds to the MODULES table.

Example

You want to find the modules with the name *ENG*. You call this function module and enter *ENG* in the SEARCHSTRING parameter.

Notes

This function module adopts the frequently used values you initialized with the function module HRIQ_RFC_ACADSTRUC_INITIALIZE. You therefore do not have to specify the values for plan version, academic year, or academic session, for example.

You can use the CHECK_SHOWINCATALOGUE parameter to define whether or not the system should evaluate the Show in catalog attribute when it processes modules.
