Functionality

This method creates a relationship between a student and a related person.

Example

Notes

If you use this method to create a new relationship between a student and a related person and a relationship already exists between these two objects, the method delimits the existing data record if the validity periods of the old and new data records overlap.

Authorizations

You require a structural authorization for the student and for the relationship to the related person (infotype 1001 with subtype A521).

Return Messages

Messages are returned in the Return parameter. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.
