Functionality

This function module reads the details on the Australian country modifiers from the table Personnel area, business subsection (Australia) (T5QGP).

This table maintains information on the multiple Australian Business Numbers (ABNs) applicable for a Personnel Area/Personnel Sub Area (PA/PSA) combination. The table delimits the ABNs based on their Start Dates and End Dates.

The following functionalities make use of this function module:

  • Payment Summary
  • Terminations
  • Superannuation
  • Payroll

Example

  • Payment summary/ETP summary Report (RPCP01Q0)
The report checks for multiple ABN records, for a selected period and a PA/PSA combination. If there are multiple ABN records, the report creates separate Payment Summaries for each ABN. The report identifies the different ABNs using the Start Dates and End Dates stored by the table view Australian Country Modifiers (Assignment of company feat.) (T5QGP).
To obtain this information from the table, the report uses the function module HRUTIL_AU_READ_ABN_T5QGP.
  • Superannuation Calculations Australia report (RPCSUPQ0)
As the Superannuation modifier can change during a payroll period because of multiple ABNs, the report uses the Superannuation modifier, valid as of the payroll period end date.
To obtain this information from the table, the report uses the function module HRUTIL_AU_READ_ABN_T5QGP.
  • Editing Payroll Results (Australian Version) report (RPCEDTQ0)
As the ABN can change during a payroll period, the report uses the ABN valid as of the payroll period end date during processing.
To obtain the Validity Dates of the ABN, the report uses the function module HRUTIL_AU_READ_ABN_T5QGP.
