HR_CA_CHECK_ROE_RECALL_CODE - Validate ROE expected date of recall

Functionality

This function validates the Expected Date of Recall, as required by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) for the Record of Employment (ROE) reporting.

Valid Expected Date of Recall codes include:

• Y - Date of recall

• N - Not returning

• U - Unknown

• S - Unspecified

The following rules apply for the Expected Date of Recall Code:

1. Must not be blank. If blank or other than the aforementioned codes, U is the default value.
2. If the code is Y, then the Expected Date of Recall must be filled.

The following rules apply for the Expected Date of Recall:

1. May be blank
2. Must be filled if the Expected Date of Recall Code is Y
3. Must be a valid date (for example, 2006/05/01)
4. Must be greater than the Last Day for Which Paid
5. Must be blank when the reason for issuing the ROE is Quit (E), Retired (E) or Dismissal (M).
