HR_EFI_PARSING_INCOMING_READ - Parse XML and store in Transparent tables

Functionality

This function module is used to parse the retrieved XML file. The file is stored within the R/3 system and is loaded into the function and parsed, using the XI parser and the SAX model. The SAX model was adopted since there is a very high possibilities of large file sizes needing to be parsed.

The function extracts FORM data from the XML file and stores it in table T5GEF01. Along with FORM data (eg: Taxcode for the Form P6), some control information, like the Gateway Time and Date, Correlation ID, TAX ID and Number, are also stored.
