Functionality

This function module creates a new infotype Pension Funds GB(0071) record in GB master data when an employee enrolls in a GB pension plan in the flexible benefit system. The purpose and usage of this function module is exclusively for GB pension plans within the flexible benefit system.

This function module reads the benefit selection data. It locates pension plan contribution details in accordance with the selection data and writes plan contribution data to an internal table of infotype 0071. The module then creates an infotype 0071 record with the internal table data.

The SUBRC return value indicates whether the operation was successfully carried out by the function module. The following SUBRC return values are possible:

• 0,,Infotype operation successful

• 4,,Infotype operation completed; warning error issued

• 8,,Infotype operation failed; error message issued
