Functionality

Retrieves a GovTalk Authentication XML document. This method SHOULD be called to obtain a properly formatted XML document that is to be presented to the end-user for signing. The signed XML document (containing the user credentials) is then passed as an input parameter to the Logon method.

Digital signing of a GovTalk Authentication XML document is used to verify that a user owns a digital certificate and hence allows him to login as the entity described in that certificate.
