Functionality

This function module reads the tables T5G_NICLIM and T5G_NICPCT to build up the internal table NIR, which has the data dictionary structure GBNIR.

This provides the levels and percentage rates for both NI contributions and NI rebates.

These levels and rates differ per category code and payroll frequency. Therefore, this function module is executed once per NI calculation.

Example

In the case of either:

• A director whose category code changes part-way through a tax year

or

• Concurrent employment

these levels and rates are processed again for each entry in NICALC.
