HR_IE_XML_TAX_YEAR_DATES - HR-GB: Determine the begin and end dates of the tax year

Functionality

This function module gets the exact begin and end dates of the tax year for a particular payroll area. To do this, it reads table T549A and finds the period modifier linked with the specified payroll area. Using this information and the tax year specified, it reads table T549Q and returns the begin and end dates of this tax year.

Example

Input parameters

Tax year: 1997
Payroll area: G1

Output parameters

Begin date: 01.04.1997
End date: 31.03.1998

Notes

This function module can be used in various programs where the exact tax year dates are required. It can be used, for example, to determine the SCON number for end-of-year processing.
