HR_IN_CALC_DRVPKVAL - Function to calculate driver perk value.

Functionality

Calculates the total perk value due to provision of driver(s) to an employee in a financial year. Once an employee is eligible for various car and conveyance schemes the employee may also be provided with one or more drivers. A Perk Value is attached for the provision of drivers, which is taxable.

This function calculates the the total perk value due to the provision of one or more drivers to an employee , for the relevant period of the financial year.

Example

An employee is provided with two drivers and perk value per driver per year is Rs.200/-. The calculated perk value is (2 x 200 ) = Rs.400/- for the relevant financial period period.
