Functionality

This function module is used to test the relevance of the averages used for calculating Christmas allowance (1st parcel, Christmas allowance payment and difference of the Christmas allowance).

It checks whether a certain period is relevant or not for the Christmas allowance; only the periods of the year at stake are relevant. If the period is not relevant, the function module deselects the relevance flag of this period.

Example

If the company wishes to pay the first parcel of the Christmas allowance during month 6 (June), only the months 1 to 6 are taken into account for the calculation of averages for Christmas allowances. The months previous to month 1 (January) that are read by the function AVERA are not taken into account because the function module deselects the relevance flag of these months.

Notes

This function module is dynamically accessed with the function AVERA according to the customizing in the IMG step: Payroll accounting ->Hourly wage type appraisal -> Averages -> Create calculation rule for averages.
