Functionality

Deletion of a handling unit.
The handling unit that is identified with the IF_VENUM or IF_EXIDV parameter is deleted. If the handling unit is contained in a higher-level handling unit, it is unpacked first.

If the handling unit contains other lower-level handling units, the IF_WITH_LOWER parameter can be used to decide whether the complete lower-level hierarchy is to be deleted.

Notes

The deletion of handling units is only possible if packing has been initialized beforehand. The handling unit that is to be deleted must have already been read from the database and locked.

Further information

The initialization of the process takes place using function module HU_INITIALIZE_PACKING, or HU_GET_HUS.
