Functionality

The database entries in Accounting, which create the connection between the transferred external object and a controlling object, are flagged as archivable.

If an internal order is created as a controlling object for the external object, then archiving is allowed for the internal order (the status NOLV is reset). It is not checked whether other external objects, which are not flagged as archivable, are assigned to the internal order.

The function module collects all changes and updates them via posting when the initiator transmits a COMMIT WORK. The lock mechanism is described in the documentation of the function module IAOM_SERVICE.

Example

Notes

The function module can only be called if a controlling object no longer has to be found for the external object.

An assigned internal order is not changed if the internal order was created by another external object.
