IDREPFW_EVENT_SAMPLE_0055 - Read Data from DB: to Protect Personal Data

Functionality

This sample function module is defined for event 0055 (Read Data from Database: to Protect Personal Data) and is called right after event 0050 (Read Data from Database). You can hide or block the content of the output data according to your requirements before further processing in the report, also you can check the retention period of the data processed (either from the database or the archived data) and block the data if necessary by displaying an error message (example error message: IDREPFW_MSG 110).

If you use method DPP_CLR_COL_VALUE of class IDREPFW_CL_UTILS to hide values, you can use event 0065 (Change Before Output: to Protect Personal Data) to hide or block the displayed data.

Example

The sample function module (IDREPFW_EVENT_SAMPLE_0055) clears the content of the Plane Typeand Name of Passenger fields in the demo output using the SFLIGHT demo module.
