IDREPFW_EVENT_SAMPLE_1011 - Sample Event: ALV FieldCatalog: Add Comment Icon

Functionality

This sample function module is defined for event 1011 (ALV Field Catalog: Add Comment Icon), and is used to enable to enter comments to some fields on the ALV grid. When the system returns with value TRUE in the changing parameter CV_ADD_COMMENT_ICON, the system adds a new column (Comment) to the ALV grid and the Comment Linepushbutton to the icon row. You can use this pushbutton to enter comments to one or more fields in the selected row.

The system stores the comments together with other data in event 0040 (Save Data in Database).

Note:

If you use this function module to enable the commenting function, you must also define the list of fields to which you want to enter the comments in event 1065 (Add Comment as Long Text).
