IDREPFW_EVENT_SAMPLE_2020_EMPT - Sample Event: Cross-Reference Checks + Allow Empty Lines

Functionality

This sample function module is defined for event 2020 (Cross-Reference Checks), and is used to compare value pairs during the cross-checking process to ensure data consistency.

This function module is called together with event 0090. The two events together collect the status of the cross-checking process, which runs when the report output is generated. You can display the statuses using the Protocolpushbutton. The traffic lights have the following meaning:

• The red traffic light indicates that an error occurred while checking data consistency and the process is terminated.

• The green traffic light indicates that no error was found while checking data consistency and the process completed successfully.

Notes

For the value cross-check, you need to define cross check rules for data comparison using the Define Cross-Check Rules Customizing activity.

In event 2021 (Cross-Ref. Checks: Report Comparison) the function module enables the system to display a dialog box where you can enter the stored report run ID whose data you want to compare with the cross-check rule to the right side of the comparison.
