IDREPFW_EVENT_SAMPLE_3010 - Sample Event: Archiving - Set Residence Period

Functionality

This sample function module is defined for event 3010 (Archiving - Set Residence Period), and is used to specify the number of days of the residence period for archiving. The system then compares this value with the creation date entered in the Date of Creation (DATCR) field and the current date. If the creation date plus the number of days of the residence period exceeds the current date, the stored run cannot be archived.

You can archive old and already stored Run IDs in the Archiving of Reporting Framework: Write (IDREPFW_ARCHIVE_WRITE) report, and delete them from the database using the Archiving of Reporting Framework: Delete (IDREPFW_ARCHIVE_DELETE) report. The archiving object is IDREPFWREP in transaction SARA. On the selection screen of your report in the reporting framework, you can select the Read Stored Run ID from Archive checkbox to display also the archived Run IDs. To do so, you must activate event 3020.
