Functionality

The function module is used for measuring customer data for checking the valid license. The module supplies data for Bank Customer Accounts (BCA) from SAP Banking.

A central measurement program calls xxx_AUDIT measurement modules for certain components, in particular, ISB_AUDIT for the SAP Banking component. This banking module gets the data from each bank module. This one is for the BCA module.

The interface is standardized for all function modules that are called by the measurement program. Not all parameters are required in SAP Banking.

The SGROUP parameter is currently not supported. It is intended for an enhancement to the measurement program at a future date for parallel processing.

The PERIOD table is used by the measurement program to transfer the periods to be evaluated. This table is not relevant for this function module (SAP Banking - Measurement).

The RESULT table is used to return the results from the function module to the measurement program. The fields in the table are filled as follows:

  • APPLIC contains the application, in this case, 200 for SAP Banking.
  • OBJ_COUNT provides the number of counted objects (accounts, turnovers)
  • UNIT specifies the unit (type) of measured objects to which OBJ_COUNT refers. Valid values in this module:
  • 230 Accounts BCA

  • 231 Turnovers BCA

  • CLIENT specifies the measured clients. All clients in the system are measured. A restriction is later made centrally in the measurement program.
  • PER_START and PER_END are used only with the PERIOD table. In SAP Banking, these fields are not used.
