Functionality
This function module provides the API layer to obtain all of the communication details (ET_COMM_DETAILS) for a given table of business partners (IT_BUP_PK) from the system.
It checks the buffer initially and if the data is not found, it accesses the database to fetch the details.
Address details are always fetched. Other communication details like telephone, fax, SMTP and telex details are obtained only if requested. The following parameters should be set to 'ON' to obtain the required details:
- I_TEL_NUM_REQ: Telephone numbers
- I_FAX_NUM_REQ: Fax details
- I_SMTP_REQ: SMTP details
- I_TELEX_REQ: Telex details
