Functionality

This function module provides the API layer to obtain all of the central details (ES_BUPA_HCROLES) of the given business partner (I_PARTNER) from the system.

Address details with fax, SMTP, and telex details are obtained only if requested (I_ADDRESS = 'ON').

Telephone details are obtained only if requested (I_TEL_NUM = 'ON').

The data is fetched from the buffers or the database based on the parameter I_BUFFER:

  • If 'ON', then the buffers are first checked for the availability of data. If data is not found, then a database access is made to fetch the details.
  • If 'OFF', then a direct database access is made to fetch the details, bypassing the buffers.
