Functionality

This function module is used for package billing for China via service rule CN_PB. Many hospitals would like to sell a package to the customer rather than billing for each individual service. The package includes some pre-configured billable services and is to be billed with a fixed (normally discounted) amount. Any performed service which is included in this package shall not be billed again. On the other side, any performed service which is not included in this package shall be billed.

When the package is cancelled, the billing status of related services shall be rollback.

Example,,

Maintain service package (service group) "ZPACK_001" with assignment P_B (Package for Billing), and add service ZPRI_001 into the package. The system will automatically generate billable service "ZPRI_001" for billing. In the backend, we also maintain the same service package "ZPACK_001" with another assignment P_C (Package content services). Here we preconfigured some services for package contents. For example: "ZC_SER_001". When the user input standard service "ZC_SER_001" for billing, because this service belongs to a valid package content, it shall be set as non-billable. If the user input the standard service which its quantity is exceed the package content quantity. The leftover service shall be set as billable.

Notes

To execute the service rule "CN_PB", you need to maintain view TNPACK_ASSIGN first.
