ISH_SDOITEM_GETDETAIL - IS-H: Function Module to Retrieve SDO Item Details

Functionality

This API is used to retrieve the item details relevant for SDO-specific fields provided by SAP for inpatient and day patient cases. Other details, such as the header for SDO, the communication standard and version can also be retrieved for the process of SDO file creation.

Within this API, you can also add item and header details for customer-specific fields relevant for SDO via the implementation of the BAdI 'ISH_SDODATA_FILL'.

Note that the customer-defined field values that have been appended to the standard structures RNSDO_HEADER represent the header line in the SDO files, whereas those of RNSDO_ITEM represent a line for every case.

Example

For example, you can determine the value for the field Inpatient cost distribution for an inpatient case by providing the case number and institution to the interface of this API.
