ISH_SHOWHTML - IS-H: HTML Display per WebRFC

Functionality

This module lets you display documents stored in the BDS (Business Documentation Service - transaction code OAOR) in a Web browser.

The function of the "WebRFC" is used for this purpose.

Example

You stored the HTML file in the BDS with object key Test01 in class ISH_Pictures and class type OT. If you now specify the following address in the Web browser, the HTML page is displayed in the browser.

http://name_and_path_of_ITS_services/!?_function=ish_showhtml&html=test01&class=ish_pictures&type=ot

HTML files stored in the BDS with class ISH_Pictures and class type OT can also be accessed directly using the following shorter URL:

http://name_and_path_of_ITS_services/!?_function=ish_showhtml&html=test01

Notes

In an HTML document displayed using the method described you can set further links to HTML documents in the BDS by inserting the URL http://name_and_path_of_ITS_services/!?_function=ish_showhtml&html=myDocument in the HTML page.

An ITS (Internet Transaction Server) must be connected to your system for the module to be called from the Web browser.

At present, it is not possible to display pictures in the HTML files.

When storing your HTML files in the BDS, select the standard document type "text" (tab page "Create").
