Operands
Input operands
DEMAND First demand to be added
DEMAND Second demand to be added
Output operands
DEMAND Result of the addition
Functionality
The demand values symbolized by the two input operands are added and the result is updated (-> operand update).
If historical demand values exist in the period to be billed, they are all added. The origin of the demand values is not relevant, meaning they can be current meter reading results or values from the installation facts.

Example
In period billing, two demand values settled separately are added to determine whether the customer qualifies for a certain discount.
