Definition of operands

Input operands

DDISCNT Discount key for demand discount

Output operands

DEMAND Demand to be discounted

Functionality

This variant executes a demand discount.

Changes to the discount result in prorations of the demand.

Example

As agreed in the contract, the customer receives a discount of 10% on the measured demand.

In most cases, a percentage surcharge can also be used to compensate for transformer losses. To do so, it is easiest to use the variant DEMAND09 (multiplication of a demand by a factor) - unless the difference between the calculation with and without transformer loss is to be recognized from statistics.
