ISU_IL_SERVICE_NOTIF_CREATE - IS-U ICWebClient Service Notification / create via RFC

Functionality

A service notification is created via the call to ISU_IL_SERVICE_NOTIF_CREATE.

ISU_IL_SERVICE_NOTIF_CREATE will create service notifications by calling 'BAPI_ISUSMNOTIF_CREATEMULTIPLE' based on the parameter structure IS_NOTIF_CREATE.

Although the BAPI 'BAPI_ISUSMNOTIF_CREATEMULTIPLE'' creates the service notifications with the various attributes of the parameter IS_NOTIF_CREATE, there are several attributes that are not supported in this BAPI. Therefore additional methods are called after 'BAPI_ISUSMNOTIF_CREATEMULTIPLE'' to enhance the "created" service notification with these attributes.

ie. short text, priority, damage code, cause code, customer

'BAPI_ISUSMNOTIF_CREATEMULTIPLE' is called with the parameter 'no_appl_log' being set. No application log is generated (see documentation for 'BAPI_ISUSMNOTIF_CREATEMULTIPLE')

'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' is called if the create was successful.

Only messages of type 'error' are returned in the parameter ET_RETURN.
