ISU_LUMSUM06 - Write Amount in Statistics

Input operands

AMOUNT Amount to be written to statistics

Output operands

Functionality

An amount is written to statistics. This variant generates a billing line item so that the system can carry out the statistical update. However, this billing line item is not relevant to posting and it is automatically ignored during bill printout.

You are required to specify sub-transactions; this enables statistical analyses according to sub-transactions.

This variant is irrelevant if you do not set the Amount is statistically relevant indicator in the schema for the variant. The Quantity is statistically relevant indicator is not taken into account.

Example

An amount determined by different interim steps in the schema is to be included in the sales statistics for analytical purposes only. In this case, it would be logical to additionally write an amount used in variant LUMSUM02 to statistics using LUMSUM06 - since LUMSUM02 only writes the result of the calucalation as revenue in statistics, and not the basis of the calculation.

When you design and/or analyze the sales statistics provided by the Utilities Information System (UIS), you must take certain measures to ensure that the amount written with LUMSUM06 in this example does not appear as revenue.
