Functionality

Update to IVB with the following characteristics:

• Only quantities (QUANT) are allowed

• Only one quantity (more precisely, XY_QNT_NEW (without discount) and XY_QNT_OLD (with discount)) can be updated. The period for the quantity is irrelevant, since the time slices are not checked as they would be in normal updates.

• As usual, the quantity is rounded if necessary. The value cannot be updated to register operands.

• This function module is designed for updates from the periodic billing period to a correction period. Table IVB should not be prorated in the target step if possible, since proration cannot be taken into account in the source step (no time overlap). If the target step is prorated, the function updates the quantity once in the first entry in IVB.

• If you specify X_OVERWRITE = SPACE, the update is additive; if you specify X_OVERWRITE = 'X', it replaces the other entries.
