Operands

Input operands

QUANT Quantity
FACTOR Factor used for multiplying or dividing

Output operands

QUANT Result of the calculation

Functionality

A quantity is multiplied or divided by a factor and the result is updated. (->operand update)
The calculation is carried out taking account of prorations of the factor.

If the quantity is divided by zero, the billing of the current contract is terminated.

Info lines and control options

ZAHL1 = quantity before the calculation step
MASS1 = quantity dimension
ZAHL2 = factor
ZAHL3 = quantity after the calculation step
MASS3 = quantity dimension

You must define which arithmetic operation is to be performed:

• Multiplication of the quantity by the factor

• Division of the quantity by the factor

Example

In reactive consumption billing, the reactive consumption that exceeds a certain percentage of the active consumption is valuated with a special price. To calculate this portion of the active consumption, the active consumption is multiplied by the corresponding proportional factor using this variant.
