Operands and their Meanings

Input operands

QUANT Quantity to be used in other rates

Output operands

QUANT Name of this quantity in the other rates

Functionality

The quantity represented by the input operand is updated without changes being made. (->Operand update)
This variant should only be used if the input operand is a register operand. Register operands are available in the corresponding rate only, but are sometimes required for processing in other rates.

Info lines and control options

Example

In the period billing, the on- and off-peak consumption is added to determine whether the customer qualifies for a certain discount. First of all, the registers for on-peak and off-peak consumption are billed separately using different rates. To add the consumption values, it has to be possible to process consumption for both registers together using the same rate.
