Operands and Their Meaning

Input operands

QUANT,,Quantity to be read from the main memory
QUANT,,Quantity that allows proration
QPRICE,,Prorated price

Output operands

QUANT,,Quantity to be updated
AMOUNT,,Amount to be updated

Functionality

You can use this variant to read a total quantity or a total amount, that was determined using variants QUANTI22 and QUANTI23, from the main memory. The second and third input operands are used to control proration of the total quantity and total amount (see QUANTI98).

Example of Use

A billing simulation for all individual contracts is executed in cross-contract billing in order to determine the total consumption. This total consumption is then written to the main memory under the ID MEM_X_RED. In the subsequent simulation of the outline contract, this variant is used to read the total consumption from the main memory in order to calculate a quantity discount.
