Functionality

This RFC-capable function module enables you to create master data without using a dialog for an individual piece of equipment with reference to an existing equipment, the data of which should be used as a copy model.

Notes

Special notes on function module ITOB_EQUIPMENT_CREATE_SING_REF:

  • You can configure external number assignment by making the corresponding settings in the parameter I_OBJNR.
  • The system makes the data of the copy model available using the structure I_REFOBJ_REC. The structure must contain at least the number of the reference equipment. The system can then read the remaining data using the parameter I_REFOBJ_READ.
  • The structure I_DEPENDENT_REC controls which dependent data should be copied from the copy model.
  • You can determine the valid-from date for the piece of equipment to be created using the parameter I_VALID_DATE.
