Functionality

Used only for AFS functions

This function module executes the reduction of planned independent requirements (PIR) with other requirements, for example, from sales orders. One of the aims is to fullfill the need for PIR reduction during rush order processing from the SD module.

This can be used by other applications asa standalone function. It can be integrated in the specific process flow of each desired application.

The module can be called in update task.

Notes

Parameter call_by_mrp controls the following :

• Called during mrp run

To avoid double database access, the enviroment information is used. Only reduction is executed.

• Called during other applications

There is no usable environment information, and therefore the system must do some preparation before reduction can be executed.
