This function module reads table T160M and returns information as exceptions. The information states whether an error message should not be sent, or should be sent as a warning or as an error. If the function module cannot find an entry in table T160M the message is sent as a warning.

If the function module finds an entry with the transmitted message number and work area, the message category decides:

Message category ' ': Message should not be sent

Message category 'W': Message should be sent as a warning

Message category 'E': Message should be sent as an error
