J_3G_WEIGHT_EQUI - Determine Weight of Equi. via Master Record or Catalog Characteristics

Functionality

The function module determines the equipment weight. This can either originate from the equipment master record (gross weight) or from a catalog characteristic.

You should note that the weight is converted and returned to the unit of measure in import parameter I_ME_BLAR (this is usually the default unit of weight from the document type table J_3GBELART). The unit of measure E_J_3GGEWEI, which is defined from the export parameter, originates from the master record/catalog characteristic and should not be viewed together with export weight E_J_3GGEWICHT!!

Example

Gross weight 500g is stored in the equipment master record of an equipment. The funciton module should return the weight in unit 'TO':

--> E_J_3GGEWICHT = 0,5

--> E_J_3GGEWEI = 'kg' (--> from master record)
