K_KOKRS_READ - Reads Controlling Area Code (Plus Fiscal Year Parameter Where Necessary)

Both year-dependent (table TKA00) and non-year-dependent (table TKA01) Customizing entries exist for a controlling area.

If only the controlling area (import parameter KOKRS) is set when calling funktion K_KOKRS_READ, only the non-year-dependent Customizing entries will be provided (structure TKA01). If the fiscal year (import parameter GJAHR) is set in addition to the controlling area, the year-dependent Customizing entries will also be provided (structure TKA00).

The year-dependent Customizing entries are valid as of a fiscal year .

Example: For a controlling area, two year-dependent entries are maintained:

As of 1998: ...

As of 2000: ...

K_KOKRS_READ will be called with GJAHR = 1999 (year). In 1999 the entry for 1998 is still valid and the function will therefore provide the entry for year 1998.

Technical information: The function will select values from the database only if the actual controlling area is not the same as the last controlling area for which Customizing entries were read.
