LDAP_DELAYED_AUTH_EXECUTE - Delayed Authentication Step 2: Authenticate

Functionality

Once LDAP_DELAYED_AUTH_PREPARE has been successfully called to identify the user in the directory service, this function then finally executes the credential validation of the user against the directory service.

Example

Notes

As with the preparation function, the functionality of this function module has no influence or relation to the user's authentication in the own SAP system.

This function does not change the authenticated user in the SAP system, it does not lock the user in the SAP system for repetitive authentication failures (the directory service however may decide to do so based on its own rules), and it does not write the SAP system's security audit log.
