Functionality

This function module provides the departments, including department descriptions, for a plant/customer number.

All parameters are optional, but either a plant number or a customer number must be entered. If a plant and customer number are transferred, the customer number takes priority, as the plant does not explicitly have to be read. If only the plant number is transferred, the related customer number is determined via the plant.

If the plant is not a retail plant (VLFKZ = ' '), no departments can exist.

Likewise the system cannot find any departments if no customer number is assigned to the plant.

The department description is issued in the language entered. If a language is not entered, the descriptions are given in the log-on language.
