Functionality 001W.

This function module provides the relevant data record from table T001W for the plant, customer or vendor number entered. Each time it is called it makes sense to only enter one of these numbers (plant, customer or vendor). If more than one is entered, data is selected only one of these, according to the sequence WERKS, KUNNR, LIFNR (plant, customer, vendor).

Example: If the plant number and the customer number are entered, the data is selected via the plant number. If no entries are found here, the system does not search in the customer number.

The function module buffers selected entries. Not all successful selections are buffered.

Buffering can be overriden in the paramter BYPASSING_BUFFER. This also overrides the buffering for unsuccessful selections.

Exception MORE_THAN_ONE_ENTRIES_FOUND can only be triggered if data is selected via the customer or plant number. From the point of view of plant master maintenance, a customer/vendor can only be assigned to one plant. However, it is technically possible for a customer/vendor to be assigned to several plants. In this case, no T001W record is returned.

Notes

The plant number is entered in the WERKS field in tables LFA1 and KNA1. The function module should be called using this plant number.
